The 2011 America Graphic Design Awards attracted more than 8,000 entries from agencies across the country, and only 15 percent of these entries are recognized with a Certificate of Excellence Award.

Telling the Hitachi Story Online

A huge global corporation, Hitachi is know for everything from band saws to bullet trains. Only problem was, no one in the U.S. knew it. So, the solution? Be true through personalized stories that affirm how Hitachi already touches the lives and is depended on by many throughout the U.S. A key driver of award-winning True Stories campaign for Hitachi was an interactive Web site that houses testimonial films that made up a series, as well as links and more information about the technology featured and the broader company. Online ads and pre-rolls delivered trailers for the films.

A prior campaign for Hitachi data storage solutions focused on the importance of data in each individual's life: The Human Side of Data. The micro-site HitachiYourData.com–created for the campaign–housed relevant stories that outline Hitachi's contribution to providing technology in significant areas. Along with the micro-site, supporting online ads were developed and a bound book was created for use by sales teams.
